We are seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Associate to support our HVAC operations. The ideal candidate will assist with the receiving, storage, and distribution of HVAC equipment and materials, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and pass a background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and ensure items are accurately logged and stored in designated locations.
- Accurately pick and pack HVAC parts and equipment for customer orders and field technician requests. Prepare materials for delivery or pickup.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using tracking systems. Conduct routine cycle counts and report any inventory variances or shortages.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and well-organized. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Assist with truck loading/unloading, basic product assembly, disposal of packaging materials or scrap, and other tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience (HVAC industry a plus)
- Ability to lift heavy items (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer or inventory system knowledge
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
