Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, experience with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, and proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI. This role focuses on creating optimized queries, building interactive dashboards, and delivering accurate, actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear, visually effective reports and dashboards.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, including data modeling (DAX/M) and visualization best practices.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting solutions.
  • Work within ETL/ELT pipeline contexts to support data integration processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL: Ability to write complex, efficient, and optimized queries.
  • Data Warehousing Experience: Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar platforms.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Practical experience with Power BI (or Tableau), including data modeling and visualization.
  • Strong report writing skills with a focus on clarity and usability for stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and workflows.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

  • Experience with Loan Management Systems (LMS) or financial/banking applications, especially credit, servicing, or portfolio data.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data tools.
  • Understanding of financial data analysis and KPIs in lending or finance environments.
Compensation: $40-$45/hr
