Our client is launching a new Property & Casualty insurance company and are hiring their first Client Services Manager. You’ll be the cornerstone of their service operations across both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines, supporting clients through policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, billing assistance, claims intake, and compliance activities. This role is 100% service-focused – no sales or new business production – and is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy CSR who thrives on building processes from the ground up.
 
Hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm; Friday 8:30am – 12pm. 100% onsite.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as primary client contact for service requests: endorsements, evidence of insurance, binders, certificates (COIs), ID cards, billing questions, and policy document delivery
  • Prepare and process policy changes (endorsements) via carrier portals or AMS; confirm issuance and accuracy.
  • Manage renewals: gather updated exposure data, review terms, coordinate remarketing efforts as directed, and prepare renewal summaries for client review
  • Intake claims (FNOL), submit to carriers, monitor status, and support clients through resolution; maintain claim logs
  • Coordinate with underwriting, carriers, MGAs, and brokers on documentation, subjectivities, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, attachments, activities, and logs in the Agency Management System (AMS)
  • Handle mortgagee/lienholder changes, lender evidence requests, additional insured requests, waivers of subrogation, and endorsements tied to contracts
  • Manage billing: reconcile statements, assist clients with payment issues, late notices, cancellations/reinstatements; escalate as needed
 
Qualifications
  • Active P&C Insurance License
  • 5+ years CSR/account service experience in an independent agency, carrier service center, or brokerage supporting commercial lines
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment – process building, ambiguity, cross-functional teamwork
  • Proficiency with an AMS (e.g., Applied Epic, Vertafore AMS360, HawkSoft) and carrier portals
  • Familiarity with rating tools
  • Excellent documentation, follow-through, and client communication skills
  • High attention to detail, compliance, and quality
