Summary:
A growing manufacturing organization in Wellford, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support order management and client communications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you up for success.

Direct Hire position with benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customer orders throughout the full lifecycle, including entry, confirmation, updates, and delivery coordination
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, timelines, and inquiries
  • Partner with production, inventory, and scheduling to confirm availability and shipment dates
  • Prepare and distribute order confirmations and follow-up communications
  • Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and internal files
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining shared documentation systems (e.g., SharePoint or similar tools)
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics for outgoing shipments with carriers
  • Support general administrative tasks and front office responsibilities, including greeting visitors and managing logs
  • Contribute to improving department processes and overall efficiency

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of customer service, administrative, or office support experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong skills encouraged to apply)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and Outlook
  • Experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
