A well-known law firm in Downtown Columbia is looking to add a Receptionist to their team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the front desk, answering phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing packages, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the law firm.

- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to the intended recipient.
- Handle inquiries and provide basic information about the firm’s services.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Support various departments with clerical tasks as needed.
- Foster positive client relations by ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Provide information to clients in a helpful and friendly manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using office equipment, including multi-line phone systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is an advantage.
- Hourly pay between $16-$18hr based on experience
