We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Payroll Specialist for our client in Columbia, SC. This role full time with a hybrid schedule.   

Responsibilities:    

  • Process full-cycle payroll for employees using Dayforce, ensuring legal compliance  

  • Maintain, audit, and reconcile payroll data (wages, deductions, benefits) and resolve discrepancies  

  • Manage timekeeping, employee changes, and payroll documentation in partnership with HR  

  • Support tax filings, reporting, and year-end activities  

  • Handle payroll inquiries, garnishments, audits, and drive process improvements 

   

Qualifications:   

  • 3-5+ years of relative payroll experience   

  • Previous experience in multi-state payroll      

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills   

  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated
