Summary:
This is a working lead role for an experienced water mitigation technician who’s ready to run jobs—not just work them. You’ll be on site every day, leading crews, performing mitigation work, and making sure jobs are done right, on scope, and on schedule.
You’ll be the go-to person in the field for quality, safety, and crew performance, working closely with Project Managers while keeping hands on the work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mitigation jobs from setup to completion
- Supervise technicians and temp labor; keep crews productive
- Perform hands-on mitigation: extraction, controlled demo, drying
- Set and monitor drying equipment per IICRC standards
- Ensure proper containment, site protection, and safe demo
- Complete daily moisture checks and job documentation
- Enforce safety and regulatory standards on site
- Communicate job status and needs to Project Managers
Requirements:
- 3–7+ years of hands-on water mitigation experience
- Previous lead, crew lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of IICRC standards
- Experience directing crews and/or temp labor
- Comfortable balancing field work with leadership responsibilities
- Organized, reliable, and able to make decisions in the field
- Able to work in fast-paced, emergency response environments
- $60k-$90k, depending on experience
