A well-established and expanding real estate law firm in Irmo, SC, is looking to add a skilled Real Estate Paralegal with 3–5 years of experience supporting residential and/or commercial transactions. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the managing attorney, as well as clients, lenders, and title companies, to help drive efficient and seamless closings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the attorney in managing real estate transactions from contract through closing
  • Prepare, review, and finalize closing documentation, including settlement statements, deeds, and loan packages
  • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Conduct title and lien searches and help resolve any related issues
  • Draft and process closing disclosures and settlement statements
  • Schedule closings and ensure all required documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Maintain organized files and monitor timelines across multiple transactions
  • Provide additional administrative and client support as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or Legal Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and closing documentation
  • Experience working with lenders, title companies, and real estate professionals
  • Familiarity with SoftPro and ProTrust is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Compensation: 
  • $50,000-$55,000
