Summary:
Our client in Liberty, SC is seeking a Customer Service/Admin Clerk to support day-to-day utility operations. The ideal candidate will bring a customer service or administrative background preferably from the public sector or utilities related industry.


This is a full-time, direct hire position and on-site. 

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver customer service in person, by phone, and electronically
  • Process payments accurately (cash, check, card)
  • Support utility billing, including preparing and distributing bills
  • Update and maintain customer accounts and service records
  • Coordinate service requests and work orders with operations teams
  • Balance payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform general administrative tasks (data entry, filing, correspondence)
  • Share service updates and public communications as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Follow established policies and complete additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:
  • Experience in government or utilities related industry preferred
  • Familiarity with billing or accounting systems is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, clerical support, billing, cashiering, or a related administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payment processing
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $20–$22 per hour
