A well-established commercial real estate organization is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of office and retail properties across the Upstate South Carolina market. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven real estate professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values autonomy, and wants to play a key role in managing and growing a substantial commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the management of a growing portfolio of office and retail properties that currently totals approximately 2 million square feet
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, property owners, and vendors
  • Coordinate day-to-day property operations, maintenance activities, and capital improvement projects
  • Foster strong tenant relationships and ensure timely resolution of maintenance and operational concerns
  • Partner with accounting and administrative teams on budgeting, financial reporting, lease administration, and portfolio performance
  • Conduct regular property inspections and provide recommendations to enhance asset value and operational efficiency
  • Review financial statements, operating expenses, and budgets to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in the oversight of Property Owner’s Associations (POAs) and/or Master Associations of select properties
  • Contribute ideas and strategies to support portfolio growth and operational excellence
 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate/property management experience
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate operations, asset classes, leasing fundamentals, and property management best practices
  • Experience managing office, retail, or mixed-use commercial properties preferred
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, and property performance metrics
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi
  • Working knowledge of and ability to interpret property related documents such as master deeds, bylaws, and CC&Rs
  • South Carolina Property Management or Real Estate License preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $75k – $90k, based on experience 
  • Employer sponsored health insurance
  • 3 weeks PTO & holiday schedule
