  • comfortable working some 2nd shift hours or on-call, as needed for a 24/7 facility? (Schedule is mainly first shift.)
This direct hire opportunity is with a growing logistics and warehouse operation supporting a long-term customer project. This role will lead daily warehouse activities, manage customer relationships, oversee project performance, and provide leadership to a growing team supporting inventory management, repackaging, fulfillment, and shipping operations. 

DAILY DUTIES:

  • Oversee all operational activities for a large-scale customer-specific warehouse project
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international customer communications, performance reviews, operational updates, and issue resolution
  • Lead daily operations involving inventory management, receiving, shipping, repackaging, quality coordination, and fulfillment activities
  • Manage project performance, labor planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational efficiency
  • Provide leadership and direction to supervisor, team leads, warehouse associates, forklift operators, and support personnel
  • Coach, mentor, and develop frontline leadership while building a strong team culture
  • Conduct daily operational meetings, customer meetings, performance discussions, and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when needed to ensure inventory accuracy, shipment compliance, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address operational challenges, customer requirements, and process changes
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency
  • Respond to operational issues and customer needs as required outside of standard business hours for a 24/7 facility

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or related operations
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor, operations supervisor, warehouse manager, project manager, or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing teams of 20+ employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Budgeting, labor planning, and workforce management experience required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Project startup, implementation, or large-customer program management experience is a plus

PAY/BENEFITS:

  • Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 (exempt)
