A well known client of ours in Brevard, North Carolina, is seeking a relationship-driven Assistant Director of Admissions & Financial Aid to support enrollment growth and student success. This leadership role combines student recruitment, admissions counseling, financial aid advising, and enrollment management to help prospective students and families navigate the path to higher education.

The ideal candidate is a proactive enrollment professional who excels at building relationships, leveraging data to inform strategy, and helping students understand college affordability and financing options. This role is fully onsite and direct hire. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Recruit and guide prospective students throughout the enrollment journey, from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, high school counselors, and community organizations.
  • Conduct admissions interviews and evaluate applications for admission.
  • Counsel students and families on financial aid resources, including scholarships, grants, loans, and payment plans.
  • Collaborate with enrollment leadership to develop financial aid and scholarship strategies that support recruitment goals.
  • Manage prospect communications and recruitment activities using enrollment and student information systems.
  • Analyze admissions, financial aid, and enrollment data to identify trends and improve recruitment and yield efforts.
  • Assist with daily admissions and financial aid operations while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
  • Represent the institution at campus visit programs, open houses, orientation events, scholarship programs, and other enrollment-related activities.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, financial aid, higher education, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Compensation & Benefits: 
  • $60k- $75k
