A commercial construction company in Greenville, SC is hiring a Bid Coordinator. In this position, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the preconstruction process by sourcing qualified subcontractors. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, persistent, and relationship-driven professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and drive results.
 
Direct Hire | Full-Time | 100% Onsite
 
Responsibilities:
  • Source, recruit, and engage subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Proactively follow up with subcontractors to secure 3-5 bids per trade
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry contacts
  • Review project documents, scopes of work, schedules, and bid requirements for accuracy
  • Track bid activity, subcontractor participation, and project progress within company systems
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and subcontractors to ensure clear communication
  • Maintain detailed bid records, contact databases, and project documentation
  • Coordinate requests for information, bid updates, and plan revisions throughout the bidding lifecycle
  • Assist with organizing bid summaries, proposals, and supporting documentation ahead of submission deadlines
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service, vendor relations, purchasing, recruiting, telemarketing, sales support, executive administration, hospitality, or a similar relationship-focused role
  • Strong phone presence with confidence making outbound calls and following up persistently
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of accountability
  • Persuasive communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $50,000 – $60,000, based on professional experience
