Overview:
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their growing analytics team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with SQL, Python, and Power BI to develop reporting solutions, analyze business data, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders across the organization.
The successful candidate will help design and maintain reports, integrate data from multiple sources, and support ongoing business intelligence initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong leadership support and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, automation, and reporting processes.
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from internal and external data sources.
- Assist with data modeling, data validation, and data quality initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests.
- Support and improve existing business intelligence platforms and reporting tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and working with large datasets.
- Professional experience using Python for data analysis, transformation, or automation.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI or a similar BI platform.
- Experience working with data integration, ETL processes, or data transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial, banking, lending, risk, or related industries.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with Microsoft data technologies and analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $70,000–$75,000
