A well-established company in Lexington, SC is seeking a professional Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or construction, and will have strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries
  • Manage and dispatch a fleet of 60 + trucks and semi-trucks
  • Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive accurately and on time
  • Track truck locations, routing efficiency, and delivery progress
  • Receive and process customer orders via phone and email
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Communicate schedule changes, delivery updates, and job site concerns with customers, drivers, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records of daily orders, deliveries, and dispatch activities
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to adjust schedules and accommodate changing customer needs
  • Partner with fleet maintenance personnel regarding equipment availability, preventative maintenance, and repair scheduling
  • Identify and proactively resolve logistical challenges
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, construction, or customer service
  • Strong Excel Skills (Including Pivot Tables & V Lookups)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service
  • Ability to read maps and coordinate personnel and equipment efficiently
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
Schedule & Hours:
  • Monday–Friday (8am to 6pm)
  • Typical workload of 50–60 hours per week
  • Participation in a rotating weekend on-call/dispatch schedule approximately once every 6–8 weekends
  • Weekend rotation is highly structured and planned in advance for the entire calendar year
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $60,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)
