Our client is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Procurement Coordinator in Columbia, SC. This is a full time, temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a procurement or a buyer role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with procurement processes and administrative purchasing activities
  • Prepare, process, and maintain procurement-related documentation and records
  • Coordinate with vendors, staff, and departments regarding purchasing requests and procurement requirement
  • Support compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
  • Monitor and track procurement transactions and follow up on outstanding items
  • Arrange and coordinate travel accommodations, including lodging, transportation, and related logistics
  • Assist employees with travel requests and documentation
  • Maintain travel records and ensure compliance with guidelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to staff, vendors, and the public
  • Manage front desk activities, including directing visitors and handling incoming communications
  • Support general office administration and daily operational needs
  • Process goods receipting and related documentation
  • Verify deliveries and coordinate receipt of purchased goods and services
  • Assist with recordkeeping, data entry, filing, and document management
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative support, office coordination, or customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism in daily interactions
  • Experience with SCEIS, SAP, or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Hours:
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • ONSITE
Compensation & Additional Information:
  • $25 hourly
  • Temporary position with potential to go permanent
  • MUST be able to start ASAP
