We’re hiring a Senior IT Engineer to support small-to-mid-sized clients across the Phoenix market. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on designing IT solutions, leading projects, and partnering with sales/specialists to deliver the right technology outcomes.

This is a “jack-of-all-trades” engineering role—ideal for someone who enjoys working across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and hardware solutions while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

You won’t be a day-to-day technician, but you will stay hands-on when needed and help guide implementations alongside internal teams and third-party partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with sales reps and solutions specialists to design IT solutions for clients (networking, cloud, hardware, etc.)
  • Act as a technical lead and project manager from scoping through delivery
  • Conduct client site assessments, document environments, and recommend solutions
  • Present solutions and recommendations to stakeholders (including leadership/CIO-level)
  • Oversee implementations and coordinate internal teams and vendors
  • Provide light hands-on support during installs/configurations as needed

Design and Support Environments Across:

  • Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, APs)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, M365)
  • End-user and business hardware (PCs, printers, phones, conference rooms, etc.)
  • Create and maintain documentation and statements of work (SOWs)
  • Mentor junior engineers as needed

Must-Have Experience:

  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure, systems, or network engineering
  • Broad technical background across:
  • Networking (firewalls, routing, switching)
  • Systems administration (Windows environments)
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Cloud (Azure preferred)
  • Experience working in client-facing or consultative environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication skills (able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders)

Nice to Have:

  • Managed Service Provider (MSP/MSSP) experience
  • Tools like ConnectWise or IT Glue
  • Experience with hardware integration (VoIP, conference rooms, print solutions, etc.)
  • Backup/Disaster Recovery experience
  • Relevant certifications (Network+, Microsoft, security, etc.)
Benefits & Compensation:
  • Health benefits package offered
  • $105k
