Senior Tax Manager (CPA)

A Leadership Role Built for Balance

You already know how to do the work.

This role is about doing it in a way that lasts.

We’re partnering with a nationally backed wealth advisory organization to hire a Senior Tax Manager who will serve as the local tax leader in its Greenville office. This is not a traditional CPA firm environment. It’s a role designed for experienced CPAs who want to keep doing meaningful, complex tax work while also having the space to lead, think, and live their life.

In this position, you’ll step into a true leadership seat. You’ll manage and mentor a small tax team, review and sign individual and corporate returns, and work directly with clients who value calm, thoughtful guidance. The work is advisory in nature, expectations are reasonable and clear, and the pace supports consistent business hours. Leadership here is based on trust and professional judgment. Not micromanagement.

This opportunity tends to resonate with tax managers and senior managers who’ve grown through public accounting, built strong technical and people?leadership skills, and are ready for a setting where they can continue to grow without constant intensity. It’s not about doing less meaningful work. It’s about practicing tax in a more sustainable, long?term way.

The role offers competitive compensation, strong benefits, bonus potential, and the backing of a large organization with real resources. Relocation assistance is considered. A CPA and a degree are required, along with comfort working onsite in a collaborative, professional office setting in downtown Greenville.

If you’re at a stage where balance, autonomy, and longevity matter just as much as challenge and impact, this is a role worth serious consideration.
