Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to build new applications and improve existing business systems. This hands-on role will focus on C#/.NET development, SQL Server database design, API development, and query optimization.

You will join an established development team working on several internal initiatives, including a new cash-management application that will replace an older transaction-tracking system. Most of your time will be spent developing new or recently built applications, with limited legacy-system support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications.
  • Build backend services using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
  • Design SQL Server tables, relationships, stored procedures, views, and indexes.
  • Analyze and optimize database queries and application performance.
  • Develop web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Build new applications from requirements through deployment.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on application design.
  • Write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Use AI development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude within established governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional C# and .NET development experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core and Web APIs.
  • Strong SQL Server skills, including database table design and query optimization.
  • Experience building business applications from the ground up.
  • Understanding of application design and software-development practices.
  • Experience with testing, debugging, and source control.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Oracle database experience.
  • Financial services, accounting, banking, mortgage, insurance, or retirement-services experience.
  • Experience modernizing or replacing legacy applications.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $80k – $100k, depending on experience 
  • Benefits package offered
