Overview:
A local credit union in Simpsonville is looking to hire a Teller Supervisor to lead day-to-day teller operations, oversee branch cash controls, and support a high-service, member-first culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily teller activities and ensure outstanding member service.
  • Own branch resolution for out-of-balance situations, escalations, account research, and error correction.
  • Manage branch cash controls: vault/teller cash, negotiables inventory, cash limits, logs, and required reporting.
  • Conduct surprise cash counts and ensure documentation/compliance is maintained.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Tellers/MSRs (training, feedback, evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions as needed).
  • Support ATM operations (service calls, cash replenishment, balancing).
  • Maintain and improve teller/new account procedures—updating documentation and using tools to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA/AML requirements and related internal controls.
  • Assist with audits (logs, negotiable instruments, accounts, CDs, IRAs) and report findings appropriately.
  • Ensure accurate/timely processing for IRAs, dividends, CDs, and member postings.
  • Assist with escheatment/abandoned property reporting and member records.
  • Help maintain proper disclosures and marketing materials for staff use.
  • Support scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and smooth member traffic flow.
  • Stay current on regulatory updates (including Reg CC and Reg E).
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of branch banking experience (required).
  • 5+ years in a retail/branch leadership role (preferred).
  • Proven leadership results (hiring, training, coaching, performance management).
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal) and a high level of professionalism/ethics.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
