Overview:
Find Great People is hiring a Vault Teller for a local bank in Easley, SC. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their banking career. This position is direct hire, full-time, and pays $18hr. Previous teller experience required.

Duties:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of basic teller transactions such as accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks within approval limit or obtaining authorization as needed, issuing official checks, taking large commercial deposits, cash advances, etc.
  • Balance daily work in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Handle proportionate volume of work based on banking office demands.
  • Order and shipping of cash supply and ensuring accuracy of count while maintaining branch limits.
  • Maintain vault cash supply and assist tellers in maintaining their teller window supplies.
  • Oversee vault security and teller alarm equipment.
  • Resolve customer issues and problems in a professional manner or refer to appropriate staff to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support team sales process by identifying and acting upon customer needs or by making the appropriate referral.  Participate in team and individual sales goals.
  • Build customer loyalty through courtesy and friendliness, including referring customers to other bank staff as needed.
  • Follow bank policies and procedures, security guidelines, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be comfortable with background check, drug screen, and credit check
  • Previous Bank Teller experience required
