Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester with direct experience in the small loan industry. This role is responsible for testing and validating loan software to ensure it aligns with real-world lending and servicing needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of small loan operations, servicing workflows, and loan lifecycle processes in a direct lending environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and test software features related to direct small loans
- Validate processes such as loan applications, approvals, disbursements, servicing, and repayments
- Identify and report system issues or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure software functionality aligns with business processes
- Support validation of software updates and enhancements based on business requirements
- Document testing results and provide actionable feedback to development teams
Requirements:
- Experience in the direct small loan industry, with knowledge of servicing and repayment workflows
- Understanding of loan lifecycle activities, particularly in high-volume or short-term lending environments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to travel to Toccoa, GA 4–5 days per week
- Willingness to learn and contribute to system improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or software testing environments
- Familiarity with customer-facing workflows and operational processes in small-dollar lending
- Experience providing feedback on financial systems or internal tools
