A well-established organization in the consumer goods industry is seeking an Outbound Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and distribution operations across its warehouse network. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing routing, and ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.

This is an onsite position based in Braselton or Jefferson, GA, with a Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm schedule. This role is a long-term temporary assignment, with potential to become permanent later in the year.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Develop and execute daily routing plans in coordination with distribution center teams and carriers
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, freight carriers, and customers
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, customs forms)
  • Track shipments, proactively resolve delays, and communicate updates
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and generate reporting as needed
  • Review and reconcile carrier invoices, resolving discrepancies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
  • Experience with TMS, WMS, or ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Invoice processing experience (Cass is a plus)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of import/export processes is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
