This is an onsite position based in Braselton or Jefferson, GA, with a Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm schedule. This role is a long-term temporary assignment, with potential to become permanent later in the year.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Develop and execute daily routing plans in coordination with distribution center teams and carriers
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, freight carriers, and customers
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, customs forms)
- Track shipments, proactively resolve delays, and communicate updates
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain accurate logistics records and generate reporting as needed
- Review and reconcile carrier invoices, resolving discrepancies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Experience with TMS, WMS, or ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Invoice processing experience (Cass is a plus)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of import/export processes is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
