A well known client of ours in Charleston, SC is looking to hire a Dental Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support to faculty providers across multiple dental specialties. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality patient care in a safe, efficient, and compliant clinical environment. This role is direct hire and fully onsite. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques for a variety of procedures ranging from general dentistry to advanced specialty care, including cases involving anesthesia
  • Assist providers across all dental specialties to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
  • Prepare operatories for dental and surgical procedures, ensuring correct instruments and materials are available
  • Break down, clean, and disinfect operatories after procedures
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Acquire or assist with diagnostic imaging, including periapical, panoramic, cephalometric, 3D imaging, and intraoral scans
Qualifications: 
  • Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and chairside techniques 
  • Experience in multi specialty dental setting 
  • Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment
  • Experience working with EHR 
  • Certification in Dental Assisting 
Benefits & Compensation:
  • $49,984 – $60,755
