A transportation company is seeking a Part-Time Dispatcher to manage a fleet of drivers and communicate with trucking carriers. This role will be responsible for tracking loads, calling to update their status, and working in their internal system.

This is an onsite position based in Lawrenceville, GA with a Monday–Friday, 6:00 am – 12:00pm schedule. This role is a temporary-to-hire assignment, with the potential to become full time in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with operational personnel and dispatch drivers
  • Enter time and ensure payroll is correct for each driver
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers
  • Work with managers and drivers to get desired weekly mileage goals
  • Track shipments, proactively resolve delays, and communicate updates

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in the transportation industry
  • Experience with TMS or TMW systems (preferred)
