An established organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Temporary HR Manager to support its Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility. This onsite role will lead day-to-day HR operations, provide strategic partnership to plant leadership, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive and productive workforce environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with recruiting teams and external agencies to attract and hire talent aligned with production needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and employees, addressing employee relations matters and resolving workplace concerns
  • Promote employee engagement through communication initiatives, team-building efforts, and retention strategies
  • Guide performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and employee development support
  • Collaborate with safety and operations teams to maintain a compliant and safe work environment, including oversight of workers’ compensation cases
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
  • Lead investigations into employee complaints, incidents, and workplace concerns with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes such as onboarding, retention, and performance systems
  • Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, attendance, engagement) to support data-driven decision-making
 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, MBA  (preferred) 
  • At least 2 years supporting hourly workforces in environments such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, or similar
  • Experience managing workers’ compensation processes
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance practices
 
Compensation: 
  • $55/hr 
  • FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
