A growing commercial construction firm in the Greenville area is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its estimating and preconstruction team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within the construction industry with opportunity for growth.

This position is 100% onsite.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and attend preconstruction and project meetings; record and distribute detailed minutes and action items
  • Track action items, maintain accountability, and follow up on deadlines across multiple stakeholders
  • Support estimating efforts by performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with bid coordination
  • Communicate with subcontractors to confirm bid participation and ensure proper trade coverage
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining project data, bid documents, and estimating systems
  • Manage preconstruction schedules, permitting processes, and budget tracking
  • Help maintain document control systems, templates, and project records
  • Support contract administration, including initial review of standard agreements
  • Contribute to maintaining historical project data and improving internal systems/tools
  • Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to preconstruction leadership
 
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or estimating support
  • Exposure to commercial construction processes preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, project managers, and clients
  • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools required
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and takeoffs is preferred (training available)
  • Knowledge of contracts or AIA documents is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $62-72k
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility
