Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and attend preconstruction and project meetings; record and distribute detailed minutes and action items
- Track action items, maintain accountability, and follow up on deadlines across multiple stakeholders
- Support estimating efforts by performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with bid coordination
- Communicate with subcontractors to confirm bid participation and ensure proper trade coverage
- Assist in organizing and maintaining project data, bid documents, and estimating systems
- Manage preconstruction schedules, permitting processes, and budget tracking
- Help maintain document control systems, templates, and project records
- Support contract administration, including initial review of standard agreements
- Contribute to maintaining historical project data and improving internal systems/tools
- Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to preconstruction leadership
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or estimating support
- Exposure to commercial construction processes preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, project managers, and clients
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools required
- Familiarity with construction drawings and takeoffs is preferred (training available)
- Knowledge of contracts or AIA documents is a plus
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- $62-72k
- Performance-based bonus eligibility
