This is a rare opportunity to join a newly established law firm founded by a highly respected former Supreme Court Justice. Built on a strong reputation and trusted relationships, the firm is positioned for immediate credibility and long-term success. With a strategic marketing partnership already in place and a strong emphasis on thoughtful branding, the firm is designed to compete at a sophisticated level from day one. While the environment will initially feel like a startup, the vision, leadership, and investment behind it set it apart.

The firm focuses primarily on business litigation, representing small to mid-sized companies in high-value disputes—often involving claims in the millions. This is not an insurance defense or personal injury practice.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
  • Work directly with a highly respected legal leader launching a premier boutique firm
  • Sophisticated, high-value business litigation matters
  • Downtown office in a professional yet relaxed environment
  • Emphasis on work-life balance alongside high-quality work
  • Culture that values collaboration, flexibility, and professional growth
  • Leadership that is deeply invested in people, culture, and long-term success
Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and polished Business Litigation Paralegal to play a key role in supporting the firm’s growing practice. The ideal candidate brings both strong technical expertise and a high level of professionalism when interacting with business clients. This role offers the chance to help shape processes and workflows in a dynamic, early-stage environment while working on sophisticated litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of business litigation from case inception through trial
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Coordinate and manage large-scale document productions and e-discovery
  • Conduct legal research and factual investigation
  • Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and trial materials
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and court filings
  • Support trial preparation and courtroom logistics as needed
Qualifications:

Required:
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (business or corporate litigation preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and discovery practices
  • Advanced proficiency with legal technology, e-discovery tools, and case management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Traits:
  • Professional presence and ability to engage confidently with business clients
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Adaptable and open to new approaches and ways of working
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving (startup-like) environment
  • Strong sense of ownership and pride in work
What We’re Looking For:

  • Wants to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up
  • Values both high-quality work and a balanced lifestyle
  • Thrives in a collaborative, respectful, and people-focused culture
  • Takes initiative and enjoys contributing beyond a traditional role
  • Believes in the importance of professionalism, presentation, and client service
Culture & Values:

The firm is committed to creating an environment where employees:
  • Feel valued and respected
  • Enjoy coming to work
  • Maintain a healthy work-life balance while doing meaningful work
  • Have flexibility and trust in how they manage their time
  • Are encouraged to grow, contribute ideas, and take ownership
Compensation:
  • $75-$100k, based on experience
