If you’re looking for an opportunity that combines accounting leadership, financial analysis, and real estate, this may be worth a conversation.

We’re partnering with a growing real estate investment and development firm in downtown Greenville that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its team. This is an accounting leadership role at its core, but one that offers broader exposure to financial performance, asset management, and business decision-making than many traditional accounting positions.

You’ll be responsible for reviewing financial statements, supporting the close and reporting processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across a portfolio of properties, and leading and developing members of the accounting team.

In addition to the accounting responsibilities, you’ll work closely with leadership and the asset management team to analyze cash flow, review property performance, evaluate projections, and identify trends and opportunities across the portfolio. This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers and wants visibility into how business decisions are made.

The company offers a unique combination of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and strong work-life balance. The team is collaborative, hands-on, and invested in the success of the business. People are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas, and expand their responsibilities as the company continues to grow.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 5+ years of accounting, audit, or tax experience
  • Experience leading, managing, coaching, or developing team members
  • Strong technical accounting skills and financial statement knowledge
  • An analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about what is driving business performance
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership, and partner effectively with leadership
  • A desire to be part of a growing company where they can continue to expand their responsibilities and influence

Candidates coming from either public accounting or industry backgrounds can be successful in this role. Real estate experience is helpful but not required. Tax experience is a plus.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organization where you’ll have meaningful ownership, direct interaction with leadership, people management responsibility, exposure to both the accounting and business side of the company, and a clear pathway for long-term growth.
