Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers? We’re seeking a Plan Accounting Specialist to support a well-established client in West Columbia, SC. The Plan Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate plan valuations, contribution calculations, investment reconciliations, and compliance-related activities. This position is full-time, direct hire, and pays $50,000/year.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update customer and account information for accuracy
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies by working with internal teams
  • Process account updates and maintain accurate records
  • Track and verify information using company systems and databases
  • Prepare reports and assist with routine calculations
  • Support team members with administrative and operational tasks
  • Research and help resolve account issues in a timely manner
  • Assist with testing new system updates and process improvements
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and meets company standards

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in financial services, retirement plans, accounting, or benefits administration preferred
  • Relius experience is a plus
