Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to governmental clients on governance, compliance, procurement, and operational matters
- Draft ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and intergovernmental agreements
- Conduct legal research on state statutes, regulations, and administrative issues
- Support transactional matters involving public infrastructure and public sector initiatives
- Maintain billable time in accordance with firm policies
- Participate in meetings with clients, elected bodies, administrators, and project stakeholders
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member of the South Carolina Bar
- 1–4 years of experience in governmental, administrative, regulatory, transactional, or related practice areas
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple assignments
Benefits & Compensation:
- $150-$190k, based on experience
