We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Business Immigration Paralegal to join a firm in Charleston. In this hybrid role, you’ll support attorneys across a sophisticated business immigration practice, managing complex casework and communicating directly with corporate clients and foreign nationals. This position calls for a professional who writes exceptionally well, navigates nuanced immigration processes with confidence, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy, clarity, and client service are essential.

DETAILS

  • Prepare, draft, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications
  • Manage case timelines, maintain organized client files, and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Communicate with clients, HR teams, and beneficiaries to gather documentation and provide case updates
  • Conduct legal research on regulations, policies, and procedural guidance
  • Coordinate closely with attorneys to deliver strategic, high-quality work product
  • Support process improvements and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Can be located in Bluffton area, Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, or Atlanta and ideally would report on a hybrid basis to local office

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of business immigration paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Strong command of written communication—clear, precise, and polished writing is essential
  • Demonstrated experience preparing petitions in high-volume employment-based immigration practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with immigration case management systems (e.g., INSZoom, Tracker, LawLogix, etc.) a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred but not required
  • Must be located in South Carolina or Atlanta

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $65k-$90k (DOE and depending on the market in which this individual is located, but negotiable)
