Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Chromebook Support Technician to assist with a large-scale back-to-school technology support initiative. This is a short-term contract opportunity supporting device deployment, inventory management, and basic break/fix activities in an educational environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, presents professionally, and is comfortable handling large volumes of laptops and Chromebooks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, inventory, and prepare Chromebooks and other computing devices for deployment
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and break/fix activities on Chromebooks, laptops, PCs, and printers
  • Triage device issues and determine appropriate resolutions
  • Document work performed, ticket updates, and resolutions
  • Support technology refresh and deployment activities
  • Maintain a professional presence while interacting with faculty and staff
  • Follow established procedures and timelines to ensure devices are ready for users
Compensation & Additional Information:
  • Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hour
  • Location: Taylors, SC
  • Duration: 6-week contract (potential extension up to 8 weeks)
  • Start Date: August 3, 2026
