A manufacturing organization in Travelers Rest, SC is hiring a Human Resources Generalist. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 2+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, direct hire position with an onsite schedule.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders regarding HR, payroll, and policy matters
  • Support employee relations including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities including job postings, candidate coordination, and new hire orientation
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions in the HRIS including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity and compliance
  • Review, audit, and validate timekeeping data prior to payroll processing
  • Manage payroll updates such as pay changes, tax elections, and direct deposit
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes
  • Prepare and analyze HR and payroll reports including headcount, turnover, and attendance
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee communications
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies including EEO and AAP requirements
  • Assist with performance management processes, personnel file maintenance, and HR process improvement initiatives
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree required
  • 2+ years of HR experience required
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Strong initiative, communication skills, and adaptability
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $60,000 – $70,000
