A well-established commercial real estate company is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to lead internal and external communications, enhance employee experience, and manage social media marketing efforts. This is an employee-facing role that requires exceptional relationship-building abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This position plays a key role in shaping company culture, supporting internal communications, and amplifying the organization’s brand through thoughtful storytelling and engaging content. Demonstrated Adobe InDesign skills are required.
Direct Hire | Full-Time | 4:1 Hybrid Schedule
Responsibilities:
- Execute internal and external communication projects across the South Carolina offices
- Support new hire onboarding by:
- Writing and publishing press releases and employee announcements
- Creating staff profiles and branded resumes
- Coordinating professional headshots
- Sending welcome communications
- Create, publish, and distribute the internal corporate newsletter
- Draft and send internal communications, including company announcements, reminders, and updates
- Manage the company’s social media presence, including content ideation, planning, production, scheduling, and posting
- Contribute innovative and engaging ideas to enhance social media strategy and employee engagement
- Build strong internal partnerships, stay current on company initiatives and news, and actively contribute to a positive and engaging company culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Required proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or employer branding
- Experience supporting internal communications or corporate messaging is strongly preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills
