We’re looking for a Senior Programmer to lead major features from concept through deployment, guide architectural decisions, and serve as a technical expert across teams. This role owns complex system development, drives coding standards, and supports incident response and cross-team engineering alignment.
Responsibilities

Design, build, test, debug, and document new applications following established programming standards.

Own major features from initial design through production release with minimal oversight.

Provide architectural guidance, establish coding conventions, and ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability.

Lead and support major incident response efforts and drive root-cause resolution.

Contribute to planning, estimation, and technical scoping for new development cycles.

Identify optimization opportunities and propose improvements to systems, processes, and team practices.

Collaborate across teams, create and maintain technical documentation, and review critical pull requests.

Mentor developers of varying experience levels and help define professional standards.

Participate in an on-call rotation for production support.

Adhere to all security, compliance, and intellectual property policies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5–8 years of professional experience developing web applications end-to-end.

Expertise in an object-oriented language and strong proficiency with PHP and modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).

Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and system-level problem-solving.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and relational database design/optimization.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, monitoring, and observability tooling.

Solid understanding of web application security and common attack vectors.

Experience leading incident response and mentoring developers.
