Who: FGP, UWS, and You!

When: October 2 – October 27, 2023

What: Hygiene Kit Drive

As a veteran-owned small business, we are passionate about supporting our Veteran Community. This year, we will be hosting a virtual drive to collect items for hygiene kits for homeless veterans. From protein bars to blankets, these items cover a wide variety of basic needs and are designed to provide essentials to the homeless population. A contribution of any size is appreciated, as we work to positively impact the homeless individuals within our community.

Please be sure to include your Company’s Name in the Gift Note section so we can properly thank you for your contributions!

All items will be shipped directly to the FGP Office in Greenville, and our team will sort items and prepare hygiene kits during our Day of Gratitude in November. These kits will be distributed to homeless veterans throughout Greenville, Pickens, and Spartanburg Counties by Upstate Warrior Solution as they support the Upstate Continuum of Care in the Point-In-Time count conducted each year.

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is an annual count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. Counts are conducted across the state, and each count is planned, coordinated, and carried out locally. If you are interested in learning more about the Point in Time Count, you can review the results from 2023 and learn more here.
