We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing mortgage customer inquiry team. In this role, you will support borrowers by answering questions about their mortgage accounts, processing payments, and providing general account assistance. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who is comfortable learning new systems and working in a fastpaced call center environment.
 
Schedule: Onsite, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle approximately 40 inbound calls per day from mortgage customers
  • Answer questions related to mortgage accounts, balances, and general inquiries
  • Assist customers with making mortgage payments over the phone
  • Explain mortgagerelated documents, including yearend tax forms (e.g., 1098)
  • Troubleshoot account issues and ensure accurate information is provided
  • Document calls and account notes accurately
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while on calls
  • Use Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook and basic Excel
 
Training & DaytoDay Experience:
  • System access setup and technology orientation
  • Handson training with internal systems
  • Oneonone call listening and coaching with senior team members
  • Guided instruction on processing mortgage payments
  • Gradual transition to answering live customer calls
 
Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience (call center experience is a plus but not required)
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable learning new computer systems and technology
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, email)
  • Reliable, detailoriented, and customerfocused
  • Eagerness to learn and provide highlevel customer support

Compensation & Benefits: 
  • $19 per hour
