A manufacturing company in Duncan, SC is seeking an HR Generalist. This position offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a growing organization where HR plays a critical role in scaling operations and enhancing the employee experience. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning
  • Coach managers on employee engagement, performance improvement, conflict resolution, and talent development
  • Manage employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and documentation with professionalism and discretion
  • Administer payroll, HRIS, benefits, workers’ compensation, and employee records while ensuring data accuracy and process compliance
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to deliver a consistent employee experience
  • Support compensation planning, market benchmarking, and benefits administration efforts
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and support HR audits and reporting initiatives
  • Develop and improve HR processes, policies, handbooks, and documentation across the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development programs
 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity
  • Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HR operations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, and I-9 regulations
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems, with payroll administration experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, operations, or technical environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $75,000 to $80,000 annually
