Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace policies
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Coach managers on employee engagement, performance improvement, conflict resolution, and talent development
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and documentation with professionalism and discretion
- Administer payroll, HRIS, benefits, workers’ compensation, and employee records while ensuring data accuracy and process compliance
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to deliver a consistent employee experience
- Support compensation planning, market benchmarking, and benefits administration efforts
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and support HR audits and reporting initiatives
- Develop and improve HR processes, policies, handbooks, and documentation across the employee lifecycle
- Partner with leadership to strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development programs
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity
- Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HR operations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, and I-9 regulations
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems, with payroll administration experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, operations, or technical environments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently
Compensation & Benefits:
- $75,000 to $80,000 annually
