OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Chemical Compound Specialist II who will create liquid solutions (batches) using raw materials, agitators, and reactors for cosmetics, over the counter items, liquids, gels, and lubricants. This job is 1st shift Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and pays $24-$26/hour.

DETAILS
  • Create chemical batches using powders, granulates, liquids, etc., weighing raw materials carefully
  • Use HMI to control agitators and reactors to create large batches of client products
  • Manage speed and temperature in batch solution
  • Follow all batch recipes exactly while adhering to safety regulations and company policies
  • Clean tanks, pumps, hoses, or other chemical compounding supplies and equipment
  • Submit samples to laboratory
  • Use ERP to track inventory

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Able to work 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • High School Diploma
  • Batch chemical compounding experience (must-have)
  • Experience with GMP/GDP manufacturing (must-have)
  • Experience with reactors in a chemical manufacturing environment (must-have)
  • Experience with HMIs (or computers in general) (must-have)
  • Ideally liquid compounding experience but not required
  • Forklift certification a plus but not required
  • Able to lift up to 55 pounds regularly
  • Able to pass background and drug screen requirements for position

PAY/BENEFITS
  • $24-$26/hour
