 A mission-driven organization in Greenville, SC is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance, safety, and long-term stewardship of a multi-building campus. This leadership role is responsible for facility operations, grounds management, vendor relationships, capital projects, budgeting, and team leadership to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. This is fully onsite and a direct hire role.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for facility systems and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, inspections, security systems, and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and maintenance agreements.
  • Lead construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
  • Oversee campus grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and related property assets.
  • Coordinate facility support for meetings, events, and special programs.
  • Develop and manage facilities budgets and monitor expenses.
  • Supervise facilities staff and outsourced service providers.
  • Ensure janitorial services, sanitation standards, and supply inventory are maintained.
 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of facilities management experience.
  • Experience managing building operations, maintenance programs, vendors, and capital projects.
  • Leadership experience supervising teams and contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, building systems, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Experience with budgeting, project management, and vendor contract administration.
  • Proficiency with building automation systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical facility inspections.
