A law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Post Closing Specialist to join its team in Columbia, SC (onsite). This role plays a critical part in the real estate closing process by auditing and finalizing transaction documentation. Responsibilities
- Review and audit closing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to recording
- Coordinate timely shipment of finalized loan packages to lenders
- Process and mail post-closing disbursements to appropriate parties
- Scan, organize, and maintain electronic records within internal systems
- Distribute signed documents to clients securely and promptly after closing
- Mail original documents to clients and lenders as required
- Assist with administrative tasks, including file handling and occasional interoffice deliveries
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain professional communication with clients and vendors
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate, mortgage, legal, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review high-volume documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- SoftPro experience preferred
- $43,000-$55,000, based on experience
- Benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off
- Consistent weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Fully onsite work environment in Columbia, SC
