An insurance company in Greenville is seeking a Temporary Customer Support Representative to support its claims team by assisting customers, documenting claim information, and providing administrative support. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent based on future business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with claims-related inquiries.
  • Gather and accurately enter claim information into company systems.
  • Communicate professionally with claimants and internal team members.
  • Support claims staff with administrative and data-entry tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide high-quality customer service while handling a high volume of interactions.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience required.

  • Strong phone, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Schedule:

  • Fully on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:

  • $20/hour
  • FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
