The Sales Support Specialist will provide sales support and customer service while helping ensure a smooth and accurate order process. This position will also help support the design center, interacting with homeowners, builders, and masons to answer questions and assist with product selections. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day sales support and customer service to customers and the sales team.
  • Help host the design center, welcoming homeowners, builders, and masons and assisting with questions and product selections.
  • Develop a strong understanding of available products and selections to effectively assist customers.
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders in Oracle.
  • Coordinate with sales and other departments to schedule, track, and fulfill orders as needed.
  • Monitor orders from entry through delivery and follow up on outstanding items or issues.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding product availability, orders, selections, and delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with sales, operations, and other departments to help ensure customer needs are met.
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks based on communication and needs from sales and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information in company systems.
  • Assist with general sales administration and other duties as needed.
  • Ask questions, be receptive to feedback, and maintain a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and arrive on time as scheduled.
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, order entry, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with an engaging, professional personality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust as needs change throughout the day.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning and working within Oracle or similar order management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales and other departments.
  • Experience in construction, building materials, masonry, or a similar industry is a plus.
  • Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
