About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to help drive enterprise AI adoption through the design, development, and delivery of intelligent solutions built on Microsoft’s AI ecosystem. This is a newly created role focused on executing AI development lifecycle initiatives, delivering production-ready AI solutions, and scaling AI capabilities across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to turn approved AI use cases into secure, scalable production solutions.
What You’ll Be Working On
During your first six months, you’ll focus on:
- Delivering AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) pilot projects
- Building and enhancing internal RAG solutions
- Developing AI-powered business applications and automation solutions
- Supporting a growing portfolio of approved and emerging AI use cases
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, and modern development frameworks
- Develop intelligent agents, agent tools, plug-ins, and reusable AI components that solve business challenges
- Build and maintain integrations through custom connectors, APIs, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
- Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and knowledge retrieval architectures
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to integrate Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and related AI services
- Develop scalable solutions using C#, .NET, Azure Functions, and modern cloud-native development practices
- Contribute to AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives
- Support Power Platform application lifecycle management (ALM), CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub-based deployment processes
- Mentor developers and stakeholders on AI engineering best practices, solution design, and platform capabilities
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, and technical decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of software development or enterprise application development experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies and enterprise application development
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Services, including Azure OpenAI and related AI capabilities
- Experience building AI solutions, AI agents, copilots, conversational AI applications, or RAG solutions
- Strong C# and .NET development experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interest and passion for AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Experience with Power Platform development, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
- Experience building MCP servers and AI agent integrations
- Experience creating custom Power Platform connectors
- Experience with Azure AI Search and Azure AI Foundry
- Experience with GitHub Actions, DevOps, and CI/CD automation
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, government, or fintech
