About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Payment Platform DevOps Engineer to help drive the secure, scalable delivery of modern payment technology solutions. This role will support both traditional software development initiatives and emerging AI-powered capabilities that enhance payment operations and customer experiences.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Azure cloud engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation with a passion for platform reliability, developer enablement, and emerging AI technologies. You will work closely with software engineers, platform teams, and cloud specialists to build and operate highly available, secure, and scalable payment solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules and implement policy-as-code guardrails
- Build and manage GitHub-native CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and modern DevOps practices
- Support the full lifecycle of Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions, including deployment automation, governance, monitoring, and operational support
- Implement and optimize Azure services including AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, and related cloud technologies
- Drive observability and platform reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and logging solutions
- Partner with software, data, and AI engineering teams to deploy and operationalize Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry workloads
- Develop and maintain Power Platform ALM processes using managed environments, solutions, and automated deployment pipelines
- Champion security, compliance, and operational excellence across cloud and application platforms
- Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices, cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and platform governance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical disciplines
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
- Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar platforms
- Experience operating cloud-native applications and services in Azure
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, networking, and governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Experience with Power Platform ALM and governance
- Experience deploying Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry solutions
- Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, and containerized workloads
- Experience supporting highly regulated technology environments
- Experience with modern .NET and C# development
