Job Summary
This is an entry-level Help Desk position responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining simple to moderately complex hardware and software. The role provides technical support to ensure employees, meetings, and events operate smoothly while delivering quality customer service to users.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to ensure meetings, events, and daily operations run smoothly
  • Resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
  • Assist staff, boards, and counsel with audio/visual equipment as requested
  • Support remote meetings and events using platforms such as YouTube and WebEx
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot A/V equipment
  • Administer laptop check-in and check-out processes
  • Serve as a liaison between users and management on technology-related issues
  • Diagnose and resolve simple to moderately complex hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on hardware and software purchases
  • Conduct studies, collect survey data, and compile survey results
  • Prepare and present written recommendations to management
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with relevant experience
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for required experience
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced environment
